World Crusing may be very proud to announce the finalists for this yr’s female and male Rolex World Sailor of the Yr, female and male Younger World Sailor of the Yr, eleventh Hour Racing Sustainability Award, World Crusing Know-how Award and Group of the Yr.

The names embrace Olympic champions, dominant groups and organisations dedicated to creating a distinction to the worldwide crusing neighborhood. Every finalist impressed the judging panel with their achievements over the previous yr, dedication to sustainability in crusing and efforts to modernise the game at each stage.

Two new awards will make their debut this yr with the female and male Younger World Sailor of the Yr celebrating the rising stars of our sport whereas the Boat of the Yr award has been renamed because the World Crusing Know-how Award to recognise the broader work on improvements in crusing.

Voting for all World Crusing Awards opens at present and everybody who loves crusing is invited to assist determine the winners. Voting closes at 2300 UTC on Sunday 27 October.
